
ISLAMABAD: (Internews): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan to Chinese President Xi Jinping, the people of China, and Chinese nationals residing in Pakistan on the occasion of the Chinese New Year.
In a video message on Wednesday marking the Chinese New Year, the Prime Minister expressed his best wishes to President Xi Jinping, the brotherly people of China, and Chinese friends in Pakistan.
He emphasized that China’s renaissance is one of the most significant events of the 21st century, and the everlasting friendship between Pakistan and China continues to strengthen, evolving into a comprehensive strategic partnership.
He highlighted that China’s remarkable development over the past six decades stands as a testament to the wisdom and visionary leadership of President Xi Jinping. He added that China’s success story serves as an inspiration, motivating others to strive for progress through hard work and dedication.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed the unbreakable bond between Pakistan and China, stating that their relations, rooted in mutual trust and shared aspirations, have transformed into a comprehensive strategic partnership. Referring to the Chinese zodiac sign for the year, the “Snake”, PM Shehbaz Sharif described it as a symbol of wisdom that teaches resilience in the face of adversity and the power of collective strength.
