
ISLAMABAD: The opening ceremony of the Pak-China Joint Exercise Warrior-VIII was held today at the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) in Pabbi. This annual exercise brings together the Pakistan Army and the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China to enhance counter-terrorism capabilities and strengthen historic military ties.
The three-week-long exercise, the eighth in the Warrior series, focuses on refining professional skills through joint training in counter-terrorism operations. It highlights the commitment of both nations to deepen military-to-military cooperation and mutual understanding as “Iron Clad Brothers.” Lieutenant General Shahid Imtiaz, HI (M), Commander of Rawalpindi Corps, attended the event as the chief guest and commended the longstanding partnership and shared dedication to peace and security between the two countries.
The Warrior-VIII exercise underscores the importance of strategic collaboration and joint readiness to counter evolving security challenges, reflecting the enduring bond between Pakistan and China.
