LAHORE: Sources revealed on Thursday that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expecting new posting in the organisation before mid-November.

Following PCB’s head of women’s cricket Tania Mallick and Pakistan Super League (PSL) Director Sohaib Sheikhs resignations from their respective roles, sources revealed that new faces are expected to join the organisation soon. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has already initiated a consultative process according to sources.

Beyond the women’s wing and the PSL, the PCB are also looking for people to join their commercial department and the high-performance centre. Aaqib Javed, a former cricket currently on the selection committee, is being considered to join the high-performance centre. Currently, the Director High Performance is Nadeem Khan.

In regards to the media department, sources stated that preperations are being made to officially bring Aamir Mir in. They also revealed a possibility of Usman Wahla, who is the Director International Cricket, being transferred to another department.

Apart from the position of Head of Women’s Cricket and Director PSL, the Position of Director of Marketing and Commercial is also vacant, following Usman Waheed’s resignation in August.

His resignation came after the alleged underselling of broadcast rights for the 2024-25 home season, which reportedly had a reserve price of RS 3.2 billion, but was sold to ARY and Tower Sports for RS 1.72 billion.
