Peshawar blast targets police mobile, injures 5

In a targeted attack, an explosion occurred on a police mobile in the Pir Bala area of Peshawar’s Warsak Road on Friday, leaving five people injured.

According to initial reports, the explosion resulted in injuries to two policemen and three passers-by. The wounded individuals were immediately shifted to Lady Reading Hospital, where a spokesperson confirmed that their conditions were stable and out of danger.

The police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation in an attempt to track down those responsible for the attack.

The incident highlights the ongoing security challenges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as terrorists continue to target law enforcement in the region. An investigation into the explosion is currently underway.
