Samina Baig, a prominent young Pakistani mountaineer, has been transferred to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi from Skardu via a special C130 flight. The Pakistan Army facilitated her rescue on July 7 due to health complications during an international climbing mission.

Baig is currently under intensive care at CMH Rawalpindi, where a team of Pakistan Army doctors and paramedical staff are continuously monitoring her condition. According to reports, her condition is now stable and showing gradual improvement.

The Pakistan Army has stated that Baig is a national asset, and they remain committed to serving the public and their heroes in the future as well.

This incident highlights the Pakistan Army’s role in providing emergency assistance and medical care to civilians in need, particularly in remote areas and challenging situations.
