Shayan Afridi, a young and promising tennis player from the Khyber district, is making waves in the tennis world. Shayan has already achieved remarkable success in provincial, national, and international tennis competitions.
Shayan’s journey is marked by an impressive collection of titles. He has secured eight U-10, twelve U-12, and three U-14 national championships, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
His accomplishments have not only brought pride to his home district but also elevated his status on the national tennis scene.
In May 2024, Shayan represented Pakistan in the International Tennis Championship held in Nepal. His performance was commendable, further establishing his reputation as a rising star in the sport.
Shayan’s achievements have not gone unnoticed. In a special ceremony at the historic Bala Hisar Fort in Peshawar, he was awarded a special accolade by the Inspector General of Frontier Corps North.
This recognition highlighted his contributions to bringing the name of Khyber district to both national and international platforms.
