Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has got himself into yet another situation that has put his family in an unforeseen crisis. His older brother, Ayazuddin Siddiqui, has reportedly been arrested on forgery-related charges.
Ayazuddin is accused of fraudulently issuing an order letter to the consolidation department, purportedly on behalf of the District Magistrate court. According to reports, this letter was filed with an application pertaining to an ongoing land dispute — a farming land dispute — with Javed Iqbal.
It was eventually discovered that the order letter was fake. The District Magistrate filed a complaint in March 2024, leading to Ayazuddin and his accomplice Javed being charged under sections 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery of valuable security), 468 (forgery for the purpose of cheating), and 471 (using as genuine a forged document) of the Indian Penal Code.
Ayazuddin Siddiqui has previously also encountered legal issues. He was embroiled in a scandal in 2018 after it was purported that he posted an offensive picture on social media, leading to charges of offending religious feelings.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s personal life has garnered significant attention due to his ongoing legal issues and family strife, which has made the actor’s challenges in juggling his professional obligations even more difficult.
