Chandrakanth, an Indian actor well known for his roles in Telugu daily soap, passed away on Friday. It has been reported that he committed suicide at his Telangana home.
His death comes just a few days after the tragic car accident death of his close friend and co-star Pavithra Jayaram.
Chandrakanth’s father reported to the police that his son had been depressed for the past few days.
Chandrakanth has been mourning for the death of Pavithra. His most recent Instagram post was dedicated to his Trinayani co-star, to whom he had previously sent heartfelt tributes. There were rumours that the two were in a relationship.
“This is the last picture I took with you, I still can’t believe you left me alone,” he said in his language in one of the posts that included a photo. Please make a call for me once more. Please return; my Pavi is no longer with me.
The Telugu film industry is in disbelief over the two actors’ unexpected deaths.
