Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf and batter Usman Khan are expected to play the first T20I against England in the upcoming series.

Sources divulged on Saturday that Rauf and Khan were not given the opportunity to play in the series against Ireland. Usman Khan can replace Saim Ayub in the playing XI.

According to sources, fast bowler Naseem Shah is also expected to be included in the playing XI. It was also considered whether to go with Shadab Khan and Abrar Ahmed in the series.

Pakistan team management had decided to field the team with full strength. The final decision will be taken following consultation with Pakistan white-ball coach Gary Kirsten.

It is expected that Kirsten will join the Pakistan squad tomorrow.

Pakistan and England will lock horns in the first T20I on May 22 in Leeds.
