Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves increase by 4 mln USD

ISLAMABAD: The foreign exchange reserves of Pakistan have increased by 4 million U.S. dollars, the State Bank of Pakistan said on Thursday.

The total liquid foreign exchange reserves held by the bank stood at over 8 billion dollars as of March 22, the central bank said in a statement.

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks stand at around 5.4 billion dollars, the central bank said.

Total liquid foreign reserves held by the South Asian country stood at over 13.4 billion dollars, according to the SBP.
