Pakistan gears up for general elections

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is ready for the general elections on Feb. 8, with polling stations set up and security personnel arranged across the country.

During the elections, about 127 million voters will cast their votes for national and provincial assembly candidates competing in 859 constituencies across the country, according to the Election Commission of Pakistan.
