Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps take healthcare to remote areas of KP

1 min read

As winter bites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bringing seasonal challenges to remote regions, the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (North) have stepped up to provide much-needed relief in the form of provision of basic health facilities.

Free medical camps have sprung up in Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Swat, Dir, Buner, and Chitral, ensuring access to crucial healthcare for thousands.

Over 7,000 patients have benefitted from these camps, receiving free medical examinations and essential medication by doctors and nursing staff. Many patients were treated in the respective district hospitals and also provided assistance for diagnosis.

This vital initiative goes beyond just addressing immediate medical needs. Doctors and nurses also took the opportunity to raise awareness about common seasonal illnesses, empowering communities with knowledge to prevent and manage health concerns.

The Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North are committed to continuing their support for these remote areas through free medical camps throughout the winter.
