Actress Deepika Padukone and actor Ranveer Singh celebrated five years of marital bliss in November. The couple was travelling and was in Belgium to celebrate their 5th anniversary. Their photos with fans had gone viral on the internet as they were seen at hotels around Brussels and on the streets. In a recent interview, Deepika has opened up on this holiday.
The actress was asked about how her holiday, was and she told Vogue Singapore, “With social media and the way that content is transcending borders, it’s no longer possible to be absolutely discreet when we travel.”
But we still managed to find quiet moments. Of course, no one is complaining if we get recorgnized overseas for our work. It’s always nice.”
She said, “It’s been both fascinating and beautiful to see how we’ve become a unit over time. We used to be very different, I was one extreme and Ranveer was another. We’ve picked up each other’s traits, learned from each other, and grown together.”
Deepika added that for them, it’s very important that they spend time with each other, but it’s also equally pivotal that they spend time with their parents and sisters. She added that it’s beautiful that the 8 of them are one unit.”
