CHONBURI, Thailand: Located about 100 km east of the Thai capital Bangkok, Chonburi kickstarted its 152nd annual buffalo racing festivities in October, with the climax being the epic buffalo race at the end of the festival.
As a much-cherished local tradition, racers rode on buffalos bareback and competed in five categories: Super Junior, Special Junior, Junior Small, Junior Medium, and Senior.
