SHENYANG: Chinese State Councilor Shen Yiqin has stressed the importance of promoting employment work in the course of boosting high-quality development and the efforts to secure people’s livelihood.
Shen made the remarks in a recent inspection tour in northeast China’s Jilin and Liaoning provinces on employment work and work related to basic livelihood.
She visited enterprises and service institutions related to jobs and people’s livelihood in the cities of Jilin and Changchun in Jilin Province and the cities of Anshan and Shenyang in Liaoning Province, urging efforts to improve advanced manufacturing, culture and tourism, and modern agriculture in growing employment.
Shen also underscored efforts to ensure the employment of key groups such as college graduates, former servicemen and migrant workers.
