People, who are suffering from record inflation, termed the relief as very ‘inadequate’ and urged government to fairly decrease the price of POL products. Also, the caretaker government increased the dealer margin by 88 paisas per liter.
A number of people talking to Internews termed the relief in POL products as grossly inadequate.
Due to the increase in dealers’ margin, people are deprived of real relief as OMC margin on diesel has been increased to Rs7.17 from Rs6.70. While, dealers’ margin on petrol diesel rose to Rs7.82 per litre with an increase of 41 paisas.
