MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is set to reportedly star alongside Ajay Devgn in the upcoming sequel to Rohit Shetty’s Singham.
Rohit had previously announced that Deepika Padukone would be playing Lady Singham in the film, but it seems that Kareena is now the latest addition to the cop universe.
This is not the first time that Kareena has starred in one of Rohit Shetty’s cop movies. She previously acted in his 2011 film Singham Returns alongside Ajay.
According to reports, Kareena has been selected as the female lead for the upcoming movie, although no information about her character has been disclosed. The team is excited to have the lead pair back together and the film is expected to start filming by the end of the year.
Rohit Shetty’s Singham franchise centers around Ajay Devgn’s character Bajirao Singham. He has played the role in all of the sequels so far. The next installment of the film, titled Singham Again, is set to be released in 2024.
