ISLAMABAD: Pakistan reported one death in the last 24 hours by the COVID-19 as the number of confirmed positive cases in the country surged to 1,580,409.
The nationwide deaths from the virus jumped to 30,655 on Saturday.
According to the latest figures by the National Institute of Health (NIH), at least 67 people were tested positive for Covid-19 across the country in the past 24 hours.
Pakistan conducted 5,478 tests in the past 24 hours out of which 67 people tested positive for the disease. The Covid positivity ratio was recorded at 1.22 per cent.
