LAHORE: The trailer of Pakistani showbiz industry’s well-known actress Humaima Malik’s new drama ‘Jindo’ has been released.
Humaima Malik’s film ‘The Legend of Maula Jat’ was a historic success in Pakistan cinema and people loved her character ‘Daro’ in the film, but now she is making her comeback on television with her new role ‘Jindo’.
Taking to Instagram, the actress said her new project ‘Jindo’ is very close to her heart.
The drama ‘Jindo’ is based on a true story and Humaima will be reprising her role in a completely new way while the other cast of the drama includes Gohar Rashid, Samia Mumtaz, Nazrul Hasan, Hajra Yameen, Faraz Ali and Naima Butt.
Jindo is the story of a woman who fights the world around her and transforms from a simple person to a mighty warrior, the play is written by Qurban Ali Rao and directed by Anjum Shahzad.
