Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq is continuing with full intensity as Pakistani security forces targeted and destroyed key militant infrastructure across the border, security sources said on Monday.
According to officials, Pakistani forces carried out effective retaliatory strikes against what they described as aggression by the Afghan Taliban and militants referred to as Fitna Al-Khawarij.
Security sources said an ammunition depot in Khost was destroyed during the operation. In a separate action, another ammunition facility along with a drone storage site in Jalalabad was also targeted and destroyed.
Officials maintained that the strikes were conducted in response to what they termed unprovoked aggression along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. They added that Pakistani forces are effectively engaging militant hideouts and military installations linked to the Afghan Taliban and associated groups.
Sources further claimed that the opposing side was facing heavy setbacks on multiple fronts following the retaliatory actions. No official statement was immediately issued by Afghan authorities regarding the claims.
