Popular Pakistani actress Laiba Khan, known for her roles in dramas such as Kafara, Mehr, and Aas Paas, has confirmed her marriage, surprising fans with details of her personal journey.
Speaking during a private television program, Laiba shared that her husband, Jawad, was initially one of her admirers. She revealed that he obtained her contact information through mutual connections and first messaged her in 2019. At the time, she did not respond, but he continued sending birthday wishes each year.
According to Laiba, the couple eventually met in 2022 at an event, where they began interacting and developed mutual affection. Later, Jawad formally proposed marriage to her family. After receiving approval from both families, the couple married in 2024 in Medina.
Laiba also disclosed that her husband runs a pharmacy business. She said Jawad previously worked in various jobs in the United States, including driving a taxi at one point, before establishing his current business. She added that he has supported his family and relatives in becoming financially stable.
The actress noted that when she first met him, despite being a fan, he maintained respectful boundaries and did not attempt physical contact. She said his consistent support for his family convinced her of his character, ultimately leading her to choose him as her life partner.
