Pakistani television actress Sara Umair has appeared to soften her previous remarks regarding divorce, during a recent podcast appearance in which she also expressed strong views about relationships and family life.

Sara Umair was a guest on a podcast hosted by actor Ahmed Ali Butt, where she discussed her career and personal experiences. Throughout the conversation, she repeatedly referred to her husband and director Mohsin Talat, avoiding the term “former husband” and signaling a shift in tone compared to earlier statements.

It is worth noting that Sara Umair remained an active figure in the entertainment industry until 2014. After marrying Mohsin Talat, she stepped away from mainstream media. The couple has two sons.

During the interview, she said she regretted not following her husband’s advice regarding her career decisions, adding that ignoring his suggestions had led to setbacks in her professional journey. She stated that she now consults him before accepting any role.

She further described her husband as her only true friend within the industry and emphasized that her real support system consists of him and their children.

On another occasion, Sara expressed a fear of losing close relationships, saying she feels anxious about losing her parents, children, or spouse.

She also reiterated her belief that men play a central role in women’s lives, describing them as guardians and providers. According to her remarks, men should have a certain level of authority within the household and are suited to leadership roles.

Previously, Sara had spoken openly about her divorce in a separate programme, revealing that she participated in the reality show Tamasha in order to cope with the emotional impact of her separation.
