The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has entered a new commercial era after its brand partnership rights reached a historic high, marking a major financial milestone for the country’s premier T20 competition.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that the bidding process for the league’s brand partnership rights for a four-year cycle from 2026 to 2029 has been successfully completed. The new agreement will come into effect from HBL PSL 11.

According to the board, the brand partnership package includes six category rights along with one umpire branding right. In line with a transparent process, the reserve price was disclosed prior to the opening of financial bids.

The PCB said that Trans Group FZE surpassed the reserve price by a significant margin to secure the rights. The board termed the agreement a record-breaking deal in the league’s history, revealing that its value represents a 1,226 per cent increase compared to the inaugural edition launched in 2016.

Trans Group’s Group Director Rao Umar Hashim said the company would continue to stand alongside the PCB in the league’s new phase and remain committed to contributing to the growth of Pakistan cricket.

PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer described the development as a strong vote of confidence in the league’s brand. He added that for the first time, the upcoming season will feature eight teams, with matches to be played across the country, including two new venues, further expanding the tournament’s footprint.
