Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved another landmark in his illustrious career, becoming the first footballer to score 500 goals after the age of 30.
In a Saudi Pro League match, Al-Nassr FC defeated their opponents 4-0, with Ronaldo scoring in the 13th minute and adding a second goal in the 79th minute to take his overall tally to 501 goals after turning 30.
Following the victory, Al Nassr climbed back to the top of the league standings with 55 points, while Al-Hilal SFC sit in second place with 54 points.
Ronaldo’s total official career goals have now reached 964, leaving him just 36 goals short of the 1,000-goal milestone. After the match, the 41-year-old celebrated by wearing traditional Saudi attire, reflecting his strong connection with the country.
Speaking after the game, Ronaldo said he feels a special bond with Saudi Arabia and expressed his happiness in the kingdom, adding that he wishes to continue living there.
