American singer Taylor Swift has once again been declared the world’s most popular singer, surpassing her own previous records. The 36-year-old topped the annual ranking by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) for the sixth consecutive time, marking the fourth overall occasion she has maintained this distinction.

Swift previously led the charts in 2014, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024, while the 2020 and 2021 accolades went to South Korea’s globally renowned band BTS. In 2025, Swift reclaimed the top spot, with other notable artists in the list including Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, and Billie Eilish.

The achievement follows the release of her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Show Girl, which debuted in October 2025. The lead single, “The Fate of Ophelia,” remained at the top of popularity charts for several months, while her new single “Opalite” is currently leading charts in the UK and holding a prominent position in US music rankings.

This recognition further solidifies Swift’s status as the world’s richest female musician, adding to her string of international successes.
