Tabish Hashmi trolls Pakistan cricket after India defeat

1 min read

Pakistani host and comedian Tabish Hashmi took a humorous jab at the national cricket team following its heavy defeat to India in the ICC T20 World Cup, trolling the players in his unique style during a private TV show.

In a viral clip, Hashmi remarked, “News is what shouldn’t happen; what happens every time is not news, and today was exactly such a day.” He poked fun at predictions made by cricket analysts Mohammad Amir, Rashid Latif, and Ahmed Shehzad, noting how their forecasts of the USA defeating Namibia contrasted with the actual excitement over India’s win against Pakistan.

Addressing the Indian cricket team and board, Hashmi humorously said that while they might assume Pakistan mourns its defeats, the team and fans are accustomed to such outcomes and take it in stride.

During the program, he also playfully criticized the subpar performances of senior players, including Shaheen Afridi, Babar Azam, and Shadab Khan, drawing laughter from the audience with his witty commentary.
