Pakistan dispatches 29th humanitarian aid consignment to Palestine

Under the patronage of the Government of Pakistan, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has coordinated the dispatch of an additional humanitarian aid consignment for the people of Palestine.

The 29th relief consignment, comprising 100 tons of food items, has been sent with the support of the Alkhidmat Foundation. The relief goods, including dates, flour, rice, ready-to-eat meals and cooking oil, were dispatched through a chartered flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, to Al-Arish, Egypt, for onward delivery to Gaza.

With the dispatch of this latest consignment, the total volume of humanitarian assistance sent to Palestine through 29 consignments has reached 2,827 tons.

The sending-off ceremony was attended by senior officials from NDMA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with representatives of various government departments and the Alkhidmat Foundation.

The Government of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan stand firmly with the people of Palestine in this difficult time and will continue to make every possible effort to support them and address their humanitarian needs.
