Indus AI Week 2026 highlights Pakistan’s tech ambitions

The reform initiatives of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) are translating into tangible progress for national economic and technology projects.

“Indus AI Week 2026” was held in Islamabad to promote artificial intelligence and modern technologies in Pakistan.

At the national-level strategic forum, multiple activities related to artificial intelligence and emerging technologies were organized. The event featured sessions and programmes including “AI for Her,” the National AI Bootcamp, Global Game Jam, tech competitions, and a Government and Defence Tech exhibition.

AI data analyst Muhammad Ahmed termed the event highly significant and expressed gratitude to SIFC for organizing the mega event and providing an opportunity to showcase Pakistan’s capabilities.

Atta-ur-Rehman, Chief Business Officer of Devsinc, also thanked SIFC, P@SHA, PSEB and the Ministry of IT, stating that the initiative would help promote AI awareness in the country.

SIFC’s strategic support is playing a key role in the development and strengthening of the national AI ecosystem.
