Renowned former Pakistani supermodel Veneeza Ahmed has raised her voice against the outdated preference for sons over daughters.
Speaking at an event, Veneezaa Ahmed said, “My father was highly educated, yet I could see that in his heart he wanted his first child to be a boy.”
She added that attitudes are changing today, as women have recognized their own worth. “People now realize that everyone brings their own destiny, writes their own journey, and creates their own story,” she said.
Veneeza Ahmed emphasized, “It is no longer relevant to say we were born this way or that our parents lacked money or opportunity. We are creators. Especially women are so amazing that they can challenge the limited mindset that tells them they cannot achieve something, and they are changing that.”
