Shahid Khokhar has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), official sources said on Tuesday.
According to official sources, the former member of the FIFA Normalization Committee will assume his duties today. The PFF had invited applications for the COO position, and Shahid Khokhar was shortlisted along with three other candidates.
Officials said Khokhar brings extensive experience in football and a deep understanding of the challenges facing Pakistani football. They added that his strong connections with FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) are expected to benefit Pakistan’s football development.
