Pakistan likely to go without Haris Rauf at T20 World Cup

Fast bowler Haris Rauf will not be included in Pakistan’s 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup, sources said on Tuesday.

According to sources, national team head coach Mike Hesson has been reluctant to include Haris Rauf in the T20 setup since the Asia Cup final. The fast bowler has not played a single T20 international for Pakistan since the conclusion of the Asia Cup.

Haris Rauf is currently in Australia, where he is participating in the Big Bash League (BBL).

Team officials said the final squad selection is being shaped on recent performances, fitness, and team balance ahead of the global tournament.
