Cricket fans will witness two high-profile Pakistan-India clashes on the same day, as both men’s and women’s teams face off in international tournaments.

On February 15, Pakistan and India are scheduled to play in the Men’s T20 World Cup as well as the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) confirmed after releasing the women’s tournament schedule.

The Women’s T20 Rising Stars event, featuring eight teams, will be held from February 13 to 22 in Bangkok, Thailand. The tournament aims to provide a platform for emerging Asian teams and introduce the continent’s future cricket stars.

Group A includes Pakistan, India, United Arab Emirates, and Nepal, while Group B features Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and host Thailand. The Pakistan-India women’s match is being billed as the most anticipated contest of the group stage, adding excitement to the Rising Stars tournament.

Pakistan’s women will begin their campaign on February 13 against Nepal and will play their final group-stage match on February 17 against UAE. India will face UAE in their opener, followed by a match against Nepal.

The group stage runs until February 18, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals on February 20. The final is scheduled for February 22.

Officials say the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars is a crucial platform for nurturing young talent and strengthening women’s cricket across Asia, with several teams viewing it as an important stepping stone toward senior-level success.
