The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, has suspended all preparations for the Pakistan cricket team ahead of the T20 World Cup.
Sources said the team management will be informed later about the next course of action. They have also been asked to prepare a parallel plan in case the team does not participate in the tournament.
It is notable that Pakistan has fully supported Bangladesh’s decision not to travel to India for the T20 World Cup. The PCB described Bangladesh’s security concerns as reasonable and valid.
The PCB has stated that if the security issues in Bangladesh remain unresolved, it will reconsider Pakistan’s participation in the World Cup.
