Pakistan has assured full support to Bangladesh over the issue of the Bangladeshi cricket team’s reluctance to travel to India, government sources said.
According to sources, the Bangladeshi government contacted Pakistan regarding the matter of the Indian team’s participation. Pakistani officials noted that if Bangladesh’s concerns are not addressed, Pakistan may reconsider its participation in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
Officials said Bangladesh has reasonable and valid reasons for its stance, which should be respected. They emphasized that no country should be allowed to intimidate another nation. Sources confirmed that Pakistan has assured Bangladesh of complete support on this issue.
