FIA registers case against former ISI DG’s brother over land transfer

The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Corruption Circle has registered a case against the brother of former ISI Director General Feiz Hamid over alleged illegal land transfer, officials said on Monday.

According to the FIR, the case names Najaf Hamid, Abdul Zahoor, and Khalid Munir as accused. The case alleges that the suspects used forged documents to unlawfully transfer one kanal of high-value land. Najaf Hamid was serving as a local Patwari in Islamabad at the time.

Abdul Zahoor, a revenue officer, has also been named in the case lodged at the FIA Anti-Corruption Circle Islamabad. Authorities said further investigation is underway to establish the role of each accused and recover the disputed property.
