Peshawar Corps wins 50th Chief of Army Staff Polo & Tent Pegging Championship

The closing ceremony of the 50th Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Polo and Tent Pegging Championship 2025 was held at Jinnah Polo Fields in Lahore, with Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir as the chief guest.

The event was attended by Federal Interior Minister, Chief Secretary Punjab, senior military and civil officials, and a large gathering of polo enthusiasts. Corps Commander Lahore and the Chairman of the Pakistan Polo Federation welcomed Field Marshal Munir on his arrival.

The championship reflected the Pakistan Army’s long-standing commitment to sports, discipline, and high traditions. Eight teams participated in the tournament, providing spectators with intense and exciting matches.

In the final, Peshawar Corps delivered an outstanding performance to clinch the championship, while Gujranwala Corps finished as runners-up. During the ceremony, the chief guest awarded the winners and participating players, appreciating their professional skills and dedication to sportsmanship.
