Sania Ashfaq, wife of former national cricketer Imad Wasim, has publicly addressed her marital issues, revealing the emotional toll on her and their children following their separation.
In a social media post, Sania stated that her home has been disrupted, her children have been deprived of their father, and their five-month-old infant has yet to be held by him. She acknowledged that while there were challenges in the marriage, she had continued to fulfill her role as a wife and mother. However, the situation reportedly became strained when a third party entered their lives.
Sania claimed that the woman in question sought to marry her husband. She said she endured mental distress and bitterness for the sake of her children’s future and the family’s dignity. She vowed to seek justice and stated that documentary evidence exists to support her claims.
She added that threats to prevent her from making documents public will be addressed legally, emphasizing that her statements are not motivated by revenge but by a desire to speak the truth for herself, her children, and other women who are silenced.
Earlier, Imad Wasim had filed a case seeking separation, stating that despite years of attempts, disagreements in the marriage could not be resolved. Imad and Sania were married in 2019 and have three children together.
