England’s innings was led by Jacob Bethell (40 runs), Zack Crawley (37), and Ben Duckett (34), who contributed significantly to the chase.
The win marks England’s first Test victory in Australia after 19 matches and 15 years, while Australia retains a decisive lead of 3-1 in the five-match series.
Earlier in the series, the opening Test in Perth also ended on the second day, causing a significant setback for Cricket Australia.
