India’s star batsman Virat Kohli has added another milestone to his illustrious career, surpassing former captain Sachin Tendulkar in List A cricket.
Kohli, representing Delhi in India’s domestic List A tournament, the Vijay Hazare Trophy, scored a century in the match played in Bangalore. This marked his 58th List A century.
During this innings, Kohli also crossed the 16,000-run mark in List A cricket, becoming the fastest player to reach the milestone. He achieved this feat in just 330 innings, breaking Tendulkar’s record of 16,000 runs in 391 innings.
Previously, Kohli already held the records for being the fastest to 10,000, 11,000, 12,000, 13,000, 14,000, and 15,000 runs in List A cricket.
