New rainfall system expected in Punjab from December 27

1 min read

After passing through Punjab, a rain-bearing weather system has moved on, bringing the region back to dry and cold conditions.

Dense fog continues to affect Lahore and other parts of Punjab during mornings and nights, prompting authorities to close stretches of motorways at various points for traffic safety.

According to the Meteorological Department, another rain-bearing system is expected to enter Pakistan between December 27 and 31, likely bringing rainfall to Lahore and several other districts in Punjab.

In Lahore, temperatures are expected to range between a minimum of 9°C and a maximum of 18°C. Earlier, a western weather system entered the country but passed over Lahore and most of Punjab without producing any significant rainfall.
