ICT Court extends interim bail in Bar President assault case

The Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court conducted a hearing in the case involving an alleged altercation and assault with Wajid Gilani, President of the Islamabad High Court Bar. The proceedings were overseen by Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain.

The court extended the interim bail of accused Iman Mizari, Hadi Ali Chatha, and others. However, arguments on the anticipatory bail applications could not be heard during the session.

The investigating officer was directed to complete supplementary investigation, and the court instructed that arguments from the lawyers of both parties be presented in the next hearing. The case has been adjourned until January 5. The FIR against the accused was registered at Secretariat Police Station.
