In the Adelaide match, Australia set England a target of 435 runs to win. However, the visiting side was bowled out for 352 in their second innings. England’s notable performances came from Zak Crawley, who scored 85, Jamie Smith with 60, and Will Jacks contributing 47 runs.
Australia’s bowling was led by Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Nathan Lyon, each taking three wickets to dismantle the English batting lineup.
The hosts had scored 371 in their first innings and 349 in the second, while England was restricted to 286 runs in their first innings.
With this victory, Australia has established a decisive 3-0 lead in the five-match Ashes series. The fourth Test is scheduled to be played in Melbourne starting December 26.
