National hockey players in Pakistan continue to await their daily allowances, sources report, with several team members relying on loans to cover routine expenses.
One player, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that it was initially promised that the Pro Hockey League would resolve pending payments and that the federation had assured sufficient government funds to cover daily allowances.
Despite repeated assurances from hockey management, payments for both domestic and international allowances during the Bangladesh tour in November remain unpaid, leaving players facing significant financial difficulties.
