Renowned Pakistani actress Mawra Hussain has revealed that she was the first to develop feelings for actor Ameer Gilani, sharing personal details about their relationship in a recent interview.
Speaking candidly, Mawra said she was initially drawn to Ameer Gilani’s innocence and good looks. As she got to know him better, she discovered qualities that deepened her feelings, describing him as gentle, well-mannered, and consistently supportive. She added that these traits led her to pray that Ameer would become her life partner.
Mawra disclosed that although Ameer Gilani also had feelings for her, neither of them openly expressed their emotions. She said Ameer Gilani’s mother played a key role in bringing the two families closer and helping move the relationship towards marriage.
The actress also shared a personal moment, revealing that the first ring she wore was placed on her finger by her mother-in-law herself.
During the interview, Mawra said that she could not imagine marrying anyone else if Ameer Gilani had not been part of her life. She recalled a moment on the set of drama serial Sabaat when she saw Ameer offering prayers, saying that experience strengthened her belief that he was the person she wanted to spend her life with.
Mawra Hussain said she is extremely happy in her married life and that both she and Ameer Gilani share a strong bond of love and mutual respect.
