The federal government has announced winter vacations for all federal government educational institutions.
According to a notification issued by the Federal Directorate of Education, winter holidays will be observed from December 26 to January 3.
The notification states that all academic activities will remain suspended during this period, while classes and other educational activities will resume from January 5.
Officials said the decision was taken in view of the winter season and will apply to all federal government-run schools and colleges operating under the Federal Directorate of Education.
