Lahore’s FIA Special Central Court has sought final arguments from lawyers on the post-arrest bail applications of three accused in a bribery case linked to popular YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, also known as Ducky Bhai.
During the hearing, Judge Naveed Ahmed instructed lawyers to present their concluding arguments for the bail pleas of Salman Aziz, Assistant Director Mujtaba, and Inspector Ali Raza. The court adjourned the hearing until December 19.
The bail applications argue that the FIA filed the case based on incorrect facts, the investigation was completed during the physical remand, and the accused are currently in judicial remand, making them eligible for bail.
The case, filed by Ducky Bhai’s wife, Aroob Jatoi, accuses the NCCIA officials of accepting bribes. The accused face charges under the FIA’s anti-corruption and bribery provisions.
