Pakistan suffered a 7-3 defeat against the Netherlands in their third match of the Hockey Pro League in Santiago, Argentina.
Pakistan’s goals came from Mohammad Sufyan Khan, who scored twice from penalty corners in the 39th and 59th minutes, and Rana Waheed Ashraf, who netted a goal in the 55th minute.
For the Netherlands, Thierry and Gieus scored two goals each, while Thejus, Timo, and Jurret added one goal each to secure a commanding victory.
This marks Pakistan’s second loss against the Netherlands in the tournament; earlier, the Dutch defeated Pakistan 5-2. Pakistan also lost to the host nation Argentina, 3-2, in a previous match.
Pakistan is scheduled to play their fourth match against Argentina on December 15, aiming to bounce back and improve their standing in the Pro League.
