The District and Sessions Court in Islamabad has recorded the statements of two more prosecution witnesses in the murder case of TikToker Sana Yusuf. The hearing was presided over by Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka.
Government counsel Raja Naveed Hussain appeared in court, while defense lawyers were unable to cross-examine the witnesses during the proceedings.
In a related development, the court also formally charged the accused, Umar Hayat, in an illegal weapons case. So far, statements of a total of 16 witnesses have been recorded in the trial.
The court has adjourned the next hearing until December 20, continuing the proceedings in the high-profile case.
