The Pakistan Women’s Football Team has been officially included in the FIFA Women’s Series for the first time, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) announced on Wednesday.

According to the PFF, FIFA’s approval recognizes the growing development of women’s football in Pakistan and marks the beginning of a new era for the national team. The inclusion will allow Pakistani players to compete at the international level and gain valuable exposure.

The FIFA Women’s Series 2026 is scheduled to be held in March and April, with the tournament kicking off in Brazil, Ivory Coast, and Thailand. Details of all groupings for the series are expected to be announced in early 2026.

The PFF said the milestone reflects the progress of women’s football in the country and will provide a platform for Pakistani female athletes to showcase their talent on the global stage.
