The Lahore District Court heard a case concerning the custody of social media accounts, electronic devices, and ATM cards belonging to content creator Ducky Bhai. The court, on the prosecution’s request, granted the National Counter Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) an additional three days to respond and adjourned the hearing on Ducky Bhai’s custody petition until December 12.
Prosecution officials stated that the first investigating officer in the case is currently in jail, and all relevant information needs to be obtained from him.
Ducky Bhai’s lawyer requested the return of four credit cards and other funds, arguing that the electronic devices and mobile phones are currently held by the NCCIA.
The case is being heard by Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wato, and the NCCIA has already registered a case against the accused in connection with the matter.
